Especially in this generation where knowledge is the way to solving problems, education is extremely important. Whereas some people can go to international schools to study, some people cannot even go to a local school to receive primary and secondary education. The lack of education, especially among girls in sub-Saharan Africa, is a big issue and a problem. Not many girls in sub-Saharan Africa can get proper primary and secondary education due to factors like poverty and gender discrimination. Girls in Nairobi, Kenya need at least some education for their life in the future. Because of lack of education for girls, girls may be suffering from HIV, AIDS, or abuses by men. If the adult literacy rate is 87.1% in Nairobi, Kenya, then as for girls, the literacy rate would be much lower because of the discrimination and poverty they are facing. Girls in Nairobi, Kenya are desperate for education; something has to be done.
